Well, I run my own little baby, an Athlon 1200 with 512megs of RAM, a 48x CD(piece 'o crap), 10x DVD, 6416 CDRW, as well as a GeForce2 Ti. A decent 19" monitor rounds out the pakage.
Besides anime, my other interests include Tolkien. In my opinion he writes the best stories ever. No exaggerating, Shakespear's plays are nothing compared to The Silmarillion or The Lord Of The Rings. For an archive of Tolkien related stuff, mainly pictures, try The Tolkien Archive. Another excellent author is William Gibson, Neuromancer has to be one of the most adrenaline packed books I've ever read. No links for him though, just check out Yahoo, they'll help you out.
Besides Tolkien, I also like other Fantasy and Sci-Fi stories. My favorites are Star Wars, Star Trek, and I occasionally watch X-Files. Star Wars Episode One came and went, I didn't hate it like alot of people, but it sure could have had a little less sugary sweetness to it.
Recently I have discovered the comic "Tank Girl", created by Jamie Hewlett & Alan Martin. While it was the 1995 movie which originally caught my attention, in my opinion the comic is much better. Like most people, one of my favorite things about Tanky is her no-bullshit attitude and free thinking spirit. To find out more, go to the Tank Depot.
I also like video and computer games. My favorite games for SNES and computer include: Final Fantasy(any), Total Annihilation(the best RTS to date), Masters of Magic, and Ultima. For first person shooters I like Aliens Vs Predator for it unique characters, the Alien is one of the most inventive designs ever. Rogue Spear and Half Life are both fun, for totally different reasons, Half Life has a great story and excellent atmosphere, while Rogue Spear is just plain cool. However, the games that still keep me occupied the longest are things on the good old fasioned Nintendo, and more recently a few Playstation games like Xenogears and Star Ocean, check out RPGamer for info on alot of my favorite SNES and PSX games.
I've gotten way more into Japanese culture for the last year or two or five, I now take Ninjutsu, and I'm very much interested in Buddhism and Shinto. I'm also slowely working on learning Japanese, and now have had about 80 hours of instruction.
